Why Brazil

For me, Brazil is an obvious choice, for the following reasons:

  • I already lived there, I speak the language and have befriended with trusted locals for help
  • Brazil has relatively cheap land
  • Brazil is a pacifist, neutral and politically stable country
  • Brazil is easy to travel to and from (has many international airports)
  • Brazil has abundant rivers and water
  • Brazil has easy laws for immigration/overstaying, land division and construction
  • Brazil is mostly exempt from natural disasters like earthquakes, tornadoes and cyclones
  • Brazil has clean power, mainly derived from hydroelectricity
  • Brazil has many regions with climate suitable to tropical fruit trees
  • Brazil is a very large country that still contains many places in a pristine state, untouched by man
  • Brazil hosts the Amazon rainforest, the largest and most pristine forest in the world
  • Far from large cities, Brazil has clean air and drinkable stream water.
